New Fence around patio
You will notice a change in the patio area on your next visit to the Parish House Inn.  The roses have been growing on the old structure for 15 years and have done well.  The structure, however, has suffered from exposure to the elements.  So it became necessary to replace it this Fall.  The roses were cut down, new posts, lattice and entrance frame replaced.  In the Spring, the roses will return better than ever and will cover this new frame with pink, white, yellow and  red blossoms.

So this will be a beautiful area come next May/June.  It's not too early to plan a visit and book your room.

October is for Pumpkins and Mums at the Parish House Inn

An October welcome; Pumpkins and Mums
Very large Mums at the parish House Inn
It is October at the Parish House Inn  and that means it's time for all things pumpkins, apples, cranberries, pears and nuts. of course there has to the king of Fall flowers, chrysanthemums! This year I found the biggest mum I have ever seen and put them at the back entrance along.  They really make a statement. The weather has been lovely as well, so we have been able to enjoy sitting on the patio in the afternoons.  The trees are showing a lot of color now which makes driving around town a feast for the eyes.  Now is the time to plan a  getaway to our area where the color is vibrant and the Farmer's Markets are overflowing with produce. There are many things to do as well...from college sports events to just hiking or biking along the Huron River. Book your room right on line from our website...I look forward to seeing you.
